Welcome to True Potential! I’m [Your Name], a UK Athletics and British Athletics-certified coach, and I’m passionate about helping runners of all levels achieve their goals. My coaching philosophy is built on science-backed techniques, personalised support, and a deep love for the sport of running.

My Background

With years of experience as both a coach and a competitive runner, I’ve dedicated my career to understanding and excelling in the art of ultra-distance running. My primary focus is on the 24-hour event—a test of endurance, strategy, and mental fortitude. Beyond the trails and cross-country courses, I’ve also competed in and won numerous road races, showcasing versatility across different terrains and challenges.

My Specialisations

While I coach runners across all distances and skill levels, I pride myself on working with anyone who is passionate about running—whether you’re an elite athlete or an absolute beginner. I regularly run with a Couch to 5K group and find immense joy in watching others succeed, no matter their starting point.

One of my most rewarding experiences was supporting a fellow athlete, now a personal friend, who struggled with chronic fatigue syndrome and couldn’t complete a 5K without stopping. Through tailored coaching, patience, and her incredible determination, she not only overcame her challenges but went on to complete her first marathon at the Paris Olympics—a moment I was honoured to witness. Her journey, like so many others, reminds me that running isn’t just about crossing the finish line—it’s about embracing the process, celebrating every victory, and discovering what you’re truly capable of.
