4. Client Responsibilities

4.1 Health and Medical Clearance

By engaging with True Potential coaching services, you confirm that:

  • You have consulted with a qualified medical professional before beginning any training program

  • You are physically capable of undertaking the training prescribed

  • You have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns that may affect your training

  • You will immediately inform your coach of any changes to your health status

  • You understand that the coach is not a medical professional and cannot provide medical advice

4.2 Honesty and Communication

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about their fitness level, training history, and goals

  • Communicate openly with their coach about progress, difficulties, and concerns

  • Follow training plans as prescribed or discuss modifications with their coach

  • Report any pain, injury, or adverse effects from training immediately

4.3 Personal Responsibility

You acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for your own safety during all training activities

  • You will exercise appropriate judgment regarding training conditions (weather, terrain, etc.)

  • You will use proper equipment and follow safety guidelines

  • You are responsible for warming up, cooling down, and following recovery protocols

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1 Assumption of Risk

Running and athletic training carry inherent risks including but not limited to:

  • Musculoskeletal injuries (strains, sprains, stress fractures)

  • Cardiovascular events

  • Falls, trips, and collisions

  • Overtraining and fatigue-related issues

  • Adverse weather conditions

You acknowledge and accept these risks by participating in coaching services.

5.2 Waiver of Liability

True Potential, Michael Bosworth, and any affiliated persons or organizations accept no liability for:

  • Personal injury, illness, or death arising from training activities

  • Injuries sustained during races, events, or competitions

  • Aggravation of pre-existing conditions

  • Any adverse outcomes from following training plans

  • Equipment failure or accidents during training

  • Any other losses or damages arising from participation in coaching services

5.3 Medical Disclaimer

True Potential coaching services are not a substitute for medical advice. Our coaches:

  • Are not medical doctors, physiotherapists, or healthcare providers

  • Cannot diagnose, treat, or provide medical opinions on injuries or conditions

  • Strongly recommend seeking medical attention for any pain, injury, or health concerns

If you experience any of the following, stop training immediately and seek medical attention:

6.2 Training Plan Modifications

  • Training plans are personalised but may require adjustment based on progress, injury, or other factors

  • Coaches reserve the right to modify plans in the client's best interest

  • Clients should not make significant changes to their plan without consulting their coach

6.3 Client Commitment

  • Success requires client commitment to following training plans and maintaining communication

  • Coaches cannot guarantee specific results or performance outcomes

  • Results depend on multiple factors including genetics, lifestyle, adherence, and circumstances beyond coaching control

7. Payment and Refunds

7.1 Payment Terms

  • Payment is required as outlined in your specific coaching package

  • Prices are subject to change with notice to existing clients

  • Payment details are handled through secure third-party processors
