For those looking for something a little more adventurous, our Last Sunday of the Month (LSOM) Run offers a 6 to 7-mile mixed-terrain trail run, taking runners through countryside paths, woodland trails, and scenic off-road routes. This is a fantastic opportunity to break away from the pavement and experience the beauty of local trails while running with a supportive group.
But the adventure doesn’t end at the finish line! There’s always cake afterwards, courtesy of The Cake Shack. What better way to celebrate a great run than with delicious treats and good company?

5k Discovery Run After a Parkrun!
At The Wammy
⏰ Time: 8am
We meet at 8am before Parkrun for an extra 5K run to explore more of the local area together. After our Discovery Run, you'll have plenty of time to head to Parkrun if you'd like!
This relaxed, no-pressure run is perfect for connecting with fellow runners and discovering new routes. Led by Michael (AKA BOG) and Adri (AKA The Flying Dutchman), you'll be in great company as we navigate scenic paths and hidden corners of Newcastle-under-Lyme.

🏃♀️Mixed Abilities – Tuesday 14th July🏃♀️
This week’s session is Relays.
We’ll be meeting at the Academy as usual, and we will be on the field.
We’ll split into mixed ability teams, and we’ll do 3 to 4 rounds, depending on how many people we get, with 3 minutes easy recovery between the rounds. I will explain it all when we are there.
It will be nice and simple, no complicated instructions, just run, tag, recover and go again.
Everyone is welcome. Come join us.
(For those who track these sessions with their watch, this is not really a session that tracks well unless you are using an auto pause feature, but even then it’s not great.)
